I want one!

When I was biking in France last year, I noticed a lot of locals had 1 meter "flag" (hi-vis tube at the end of the a rod) on the left of their bikes. I've never seen anything like it here - can't even find pictures. I'm not likely to ride with one on my bike, but it is a good idea.
