Friend of a friend had her bike stripped after it was left unattended for 2 hours in the Whittier neighborhood. An attempt was made to cut the u-lock but failed.
The seat, front wheel, bars and brake were stripped off.
Bars - standard mustache bars with blue Dura grips Brake - some odd Korean purple brake that doesn't work very well Seat - new seat post clamp attached to a standard issue Bianchi seat/post Wheel - Black rim, Panasonic tire, no name hub sort of a copper color
If you see anyone selling these parts or using these parts on their bike, give them the inquisition and see what results you get.
This crime pisses me off in particular, because a thief wouldn't steal this shit to sell. This is seems like another cyclist stealing parts for a build. So fuck you for stealing bike parts you human loser.
