+5 on having to give up and go home after a half block this morning.

+5 (or whatever it is) on how totally awesome this forum is for getting useful information out to people who need it when they need it.

Diagonal trail was patchy, huge piles of snow to clamber over at the intersections. Some areas, like the on-ramp to saint anthony blvd, are not plowed at all.

SLP trail is plowed. but true to form, they did it today after everything froze. MPLS/SLP border to Beltline is a ice rutted mess. i rode it on slicks but it was a PITA. west of beltline it gets quite a bit better. but still annoying. why cant SLP get that they should plow when its still warm and sloppy? not wait until everything turns into an ice ball.

The 694 bridge over the Mississippi is not so good.

Approach on Fridley side

Looking West

Looking East

Approach on Brooklyn Center side

I sure hope the 610 bridge is in better shape.

Rode the gateway from downtown St. Paul to Bruce Vento yesterday. Plowed and dry.

Southwest trail is nicely plowed through Hopkins... and not plowed at all west of Shady Oak Lake. I believe this is where the trail cuts through Minnetonka.

Going to be a fun ride home on Eden Prairie surface streets after dark... :o

Monday, looking down toward Big Rivers Regional Trail from Hwy 13 (Sibley Memorial Hwy) in Mendota Heights.

Looking out from Ft Snelling, the Crosby Farm area also looked rather submerged.
