I'm looking for a more leisurely route from Adubon park to South/Downtown/Dinkytown that anyone here likes to take. Is their more leisurely routes that aren't really out of the way? Or routes so spectacular that they're worth going out of the way for? I usually just go down Fillmore until the Stone Arch bridge, or 10th ave and then get on the LRT-Greenway. Which is okay, it just gets kind of boring after awhile, especially when I have spare time for a nice bike ride.
Thanks!

Go west on St. Anthony Parkway and then go south to downtown along either side of the Mississippi. The west side under the Camden bridge has some interesting trails by the water.

Go east on St. Anthony Parkway and then take the Diagonal Trail or Ridgeway Parkway to Stinson and into the Como neighborhood and 15th Ave into Dinkytown. Cross the river on the #9 Bridge or Franklin and take the West River Parkway down to the Greenway.

Some sections have off-street paths but nothing super special about these routes.

Jerbear's routes are ones I frequently take and I agree that they are nice for getting out of NE while still being on somewhat of a trail system

One other route is to take 22nd Ave to Monroe to 19th Ave to the 18th Ave Bikeway to Marshall to the Plymouth Bridge to WWR/Cedar Lake Trail

It's not as scenic as Jerbear's routes, but at least the 18th Ave Bikeway provides somewhat of an off-street opportunity
