Highlights would have to be seeing Lala master the skid and of course seeing Pike skid for well over 100 feet including a 90 degree turn. Following the blue lights made me dizzy...

Um you forgot that the 100 feet skid was on the Terrific Torpado! Man, I can't wait to learn how to do that myself. Thanks to Summerinside for schooling me on the art of the trackstand!

Hard to say - you were being "sociable" with almost everyone's fixies last night. It was awesome to see you and Tommy showing what the Torpado could do though. Sorry about your tires - yikes!

that was my first snr. and definitly won't be my last. meeting bikelove kids is always fun.

and learning how to skid was the highlight of my week. infinite thanks to the guy that showed me how to do it (i remember your real name but don't know your forum name). i've been trying to skid for forever and im very excited that it finally clicked. probably a bit too excited. a few shots of whiskey later, and i skidded into the side of my friends garage. i'm crazy bruised but i don't care.

By George it has been flipped. Let the people be merry. I had my first 0mph fall over yesterday at the Hiawatha light off the greenway. I tried to trackstand and couldn't get my foot out of the cage in time to stop from falling over. Whoopsidaisy! 8)

So with all the other conflicting rides this evening, is the SNR still on? The Coon Rapids Crew is making a rare appearance. Hate to show up to McD's and sit there waiting for no one. :???:

I think the SNR is always on but as someone else mentioned (Peat?) the SNR could meet up with the Blokes on Spokes ride at 11:30.

I zoomed by the snr meetup around 10:00. It looked like almost 30. I saw more on the way.

That was about right. Decent enough ride. Changed two flats, one for StealthShifter and one later for myself (I owe you one Phil!). Met an eccentric fellow who spoke of Casey Jones and petted the largest Collie I have ever bore witness to. Drank PBR and put faces with names.
