Join Occupy Homes and Minneapolis Bike Lovers on June 2nd to celebrate summer, bikes, and the 99%.
The ride will tour key Occupy destinations in Minneapolis.
BBQ will include raffle of all star equipment and used bikes.

The fee will be $5-$25 sliding scale. All proceeds go towards the grassroots effort to stop foreclosures in Minnesota. All riders will receive a lunch with meat and vegetarian options,
The proposed route for the ride is as follows:
*Meet at Loring Park at the Dandelion Fountain
*Ride to Peavey Plaza and check in with the reoccupation
*Hear from founders of Occupy at MN's very first occupied Space, the People's Plaza
*Next we will head to the US Bank corporate headquarters, the site of many actions against corruption and greed
*Say hello to Bobby Hull, the site of the first Occupy Homes victory
*Get a cup of coffee and take a break at the Minnehaha Free Space where Occupy Homes holds the weekly General Meeting Sundays at 2pm
*We will then head back to Loring Park for the BBQ and to prepare for the march/ride to US Bank CEO Richard Davis' home.
*Can you ride up Kenwood Hill? Last time we all wrote a letter asking him to offer good faith negotiations to his customers, folded them into paper airplanes, and sent them into his yard to make sure he got the message. We will have a new surprise in store this time.

A single mother from North Minneapolis who after 7 months of working two jobs, marching, speaking at rallies, and rallying her community was able to receive a negotiation from US Bank. She was the first homeowner in the county to approach Occupy for foreclosure help, and has become a pioneer of the movement.
