The Miesville FiftySix is a gravel road ride through beautiful parts of Dakota county just minutes southeast of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. We are gearing up for May 1st, 2016. It’s a mass roll-out at 8:30am sharp from the Miesville Mudhens stadium right in Miesville. The route will consist of 56 radical miles Dakota County and the Cannon River Valley. Many gravel enthusiasts have told us that this is one of their favorite rides of the year. That’s a big deal.
This coming year (2016) there will be some exciting changes. Nothing too dramatic…but more organized pre-ride. Option of pre-order of Miesville Gear so you get the goods ahead of time. Food options pre-ride as well.
The Miesville FiftySix is open to everyone and anyone who likes to ride bikes. We will be capping the event at 400 participants. The registration process will open on January 1st, 2016. Although postcards are cool, they are a lot of work, so we will be dialing it back and using a sign-up form via the interwebs instead. This is cleaner, more legit, and easier to manage and manipulate. So, stay tuned.
Parking will be in the back lot of the Miesville Mudhens baseball stadium. Make sure you don’t park anywhere where it is roped off or states NO PARKING. We are very excited for the second annual Miesville FiftySix (PKA: Miesville Gravel Grinder).
